The foundational principles of the RTN program are designed to optimize your body's ability to convert the food you eat into energy to fuel each one of the 37.2 trillion cells in your body.
When your cells are unable to receive energy from the food you eat they are in a state of starvation. This places a major burden on the adrenal gland, shuts the thyroid down and adapts the body into a state of chronic stress.
The human body itself has evolved to be able to manage these stresses in the short term (times of famine and starvation) but unequipped to keep it up from week to week, month to month and year to year.
Over time and when left unaddressed the body gets locked in this compensated state that can only be relieved when interrupted.

Lesson 1: Setting the Foundation
Lesson 1 is all about creating a foundation for healing. It is by far one of the most important phases and one you will continue to build upon as you, your community and your coaches work together through lessons 1-2. In lesson 1 you will learn what metabolic foods heal your adrenals and thyroid, and how to begin using them in your day to day life. The lessons include: Principles of the RTN Program, Redefining Carbs, Proteins and Fats, RTN Metabolic Food List and How to Begin to Create Balance, The Adrenal Cocktail and Ways to Begin to Restore Mg.
Lesson 2: Scheduling for Success
In lesson 2 you will discover the relationship between food the adrenals, the thyroid and the nervous system. You will learn strategies to achieving food frequency for optimal energy production and blood sugar regulation. In this phase you will also begin to learn how to use simple real-time subjective and objective assessments to determine whether the changes you are making are supporting your body or not. The lessons include: Tuning into you, Food Frequency, Scheduling for Success and The Benefits of Desiccated Liver.
Lesson 3: Customizing Macronutrients
In lesson 3 you will learn more about body temperature and pulse, patterns and how this relates your system. This will allow you to more closely refine the proper balance of energy your body needs to meet the demands of each day. Doing so places your body in a healing state and is essential to creating consistency and building resiliency. In this lesson you will also learn how to support your body with the proper anti-oxidants. The lesson includes: Body Temperature and Pulse, Body Temperature and Pulse Patterns, The Antioxidant: Vitamin E.
Lesson 4: Strengthen Resiliency Through Adaptation
By lesson 4 you will also know exactly what food to eat, when to eat it and how much of it you need to eat to achieve balance no matter what life circumstances come your way. In this lesson you will bring all the work from the previous 3 lessons together and build consistency in both nutrition and lifestyle habits. You will also learn breath work to assist in total nervous system integration and talk about how to move metabolically. The lessons include: Introduction to Metabolic Breathing, Introduction to Metabolic Movement, Supplementing with Mg.
The purpose of lesson 4 is to create and practice consistency in the lifestyle and nutrition habits you have established throughout each phase of the RTN group process. Q.What if I do not have a thyroid issue?

A.No. You must at least eat fish and preferably eggs to do the RTN program.
